A major asset of the natural gas industry is the ability to move gas over long distances utilizing multiple transportation networks. An important facet of this ability is the system flexibility provided by the market centers/hubs that have been developed to permit the transfer of gas among multiple systems at various interchange points. LCI has developed a series of reports,
Major Natural Gas Hub Reports, that detail these transfer activities. These Reports are updated monthly. Each Report has a brief narrative that provides general information relevant to that particular Hub and a snapshot of current gas movement activity. Along with the narrative is a data sheet that details current and historical activity data at the Hub. The latest Hub activity data are illustrated on a map that shows both the geographical Region and the current flow statistics.
